The Winter Holidays are almost here, which means time to get glammed up! If you are going to buy (a) new outfit(s), why not choose something that is a friendlier alternative for mama earth! We give you five reasons why you should shop at LFV for your outfit(s) this Christmas and New Years!
1. It's a more sustainable choice.
Do you purchase a new outfit every year for the Holidays? You are definitely not the only. However imagine if only half of the people on the planet do the same as you... The impact it has on the world, for something you wear for not more than 3 times a year is BIG. Now imagine if these same people all chose a preloved, instead of new, outfit. That impact is also BIG, but in a much better way. This impact can start with you!
2. It's more unique.
Since all of our pieces are finds from before 2010 going back till 1960, you will not find the items we sell easily anywhere else. If you like to stand out with your outfit at the Christmas dinner or NYE party, check out our preloved Holiday collection!
3. The quality is often better.
The quality of clothing has declined over the years. This is mostly due to the mass production of fast fashion. Before this, more care and effort was being put into the process of making clothes, compared to today’s fast moving industrial processes.
4. All of our pieces have a different story.
Since we collect our dreamy pieces from all over the world, they all have a different background story. Maybe your preloved corset was worn by a bride on her beautiful wedding in Italy or that dress was handmade by a small boutique owner in Paris. How cool is that!
5. Our clothing looks just as new.
An understandable question people often have regarding to worn clothes are the state and hygiene of the piece. We carefully handpick pieces that are in very good to perfect state. Most of our items look as new! All of our items are checked on stains and damages. Noticeable flaws are always mentioned in the description and all clothing is washed.
So, what is your reason not to treasure hunt a unique, vintage outfit this year?
